Round logs are ideal for those who prefer a classic look. Wooden homes made of logs are very strong not to mention wood is the most natural resource and environmentally friendly building material. The wood we use is pine or spruce from North-Eastern Europe. The wood is processed with modern Finnish equipment and then the logs are dried in a powerful vacuum infrared drying machine. The moisture level is 15% after the drying process. Then the logs are trimmed and then the cups are cut in the place of mounting beams specific to the project. The control assembly of the house is made at the production site in order to eliminate any defects or error in design. The house is then disassembled, treated with antiseptic, packed and shipped to the warehouse.
Robin Wood offers round logs with a diameter from 180mm to 240mm. The length of timber should not exceed 6 m.
